My first ever blog is finally here. I really don’t know if I’m doing this right, or if there are rules surrounding blogs, but here it goes…
Why do you hire a photographer? To capture the precious moments with your family and to then print those moments into photo books, or wall art, or as family gifts, or just to watch it as a screen show on your computer - but mainly to look back at these memories and remember these fleeting, special moments.
So, let me start by sharing with you that every year I take my own kids out for a photo session - I use the kids loosely these days as they are almost adults, but they will always be my babies - much to their embarrassment! This has been an annual tradition with my family since my children were little (and a lot more pliable!). Now, they really don’t like being told what to do during our sessions - so these days I just let them take the lead and just go with the flow, and here are the results! And, I actually managed to get into a couple of piks - if you’re trying to find me, look for the shortest one!
